Just to clarify anyone reading this or anyone that reads this that might not totally be into video games, all the subject matter on here is not going to always be about video games, but video games are definitely something I love. If I feel like I want to write about something, I am going to write about it, at the same time I don't want to over saturate myself, cause I want my blogs to be fluid and my thoughts about any given subject to come through pretty clearly.

Among The Sleep
Now onto the subject, there has been a game that has recently popped up on everyone's radar, called Among The Sleep. This game puts you into the role of a two year old child, the child is put to bed and not too long after what we feared as children, becomes a reality here . The idea is to put you in such a helpless position that the only way to defend yourself is to hide. You can hear the sound of the childs breath, the child pouting and as you scurry across the floor you can see a childs frightened little hands from things that are going bump in the night. From this 2 minute trailer you get a really good feel of how the developers are going to be immersing you into the game. You are not alone and you have to be very afraid.
I absolutely love the concept to this game and nailed right this is something that could be phenomenal. Taking a genre and putting you into a role of a character that really hasn't been explored before. It's a breath of fresh air and puts you into a different mind frame when approaching the game. The atmosphere also seems much more believable in the role you're given.
I really can't wait to see more of this game and what else they do with the game that compliments the role of the child.

Glad you're ressurecting this blog. Writing has a way of taming our muses. I think the trailer for this game is interesting and I definitely want to see more -- and not just a teaser. And to Henry James I say the answer is both.
