Parts of a dream

I usually don't remember any of my dreams. Not even parts of them, but I have actually remembered these parts pretty vividly. I don't really think my dreams mean much and I couldn't even begin to tell you where most of my dreams come from. The one I had last night was about the Zombie Apocalypse. I am not a huge fan of zombies which is made apparent from a previous post of mine. This dream lasted pretty much all night but I only remember these 2 parts of it. And these 2 parts are connected to each other.

The first part I remember is that me and a group of people I knew where walking towards a blocked off street with a gate that was about 30-40 feet high. On the top of this gate were motion detected turrets, some how we had it set to where it would only detect zombies. As we were approaching the gate the lasers on the turrets started to move towards the group and I. Then just as quickly as it detected us it started shooting and taking the group out. Luckily for me I was right next to a car that I ducked behind. I then maneuvered around other cars until I was out of view.

This second part didn't directly connect to the last but in my dream I knew it happened some time afterwards. I was in a house with a different group of people I knew and we were having a conversation but I don't remember about what. After a while I decided it was time for me to go. When I reached the door I saw a group of teenagers routing zombies around the house. I immediately went back in and warned someone. We made our way upstairs and I looked out the window to see these kids blocking any openings the house had. I ended up finding an open window that lead onto a roof. I headed out there and knocked one kids down on a lower part of the house. Another kid came up to me and I knocked him down on an awning and he slid off the side. I saw the next kid and it was a girl who had an evil grin on her face as I turned to her, but that is where my dream ended.

The reason I am writing this is because I don't really remember my dreams. I might remember very small portions but never to this extent. I thought it would be interesting and fun to write this down, though.
